Having had a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery after breast cancer, Rosemary wanted to get back to looking and feeling what she felt was ‘normal’ again.
Deciding to get in touch with the Blackrock Clinic because of what she describes as its ‘superb reputation’, Rosemary contacted Mr Chan, a consultant plastic surgeon at the facility, about the possibility of breast augmentation, and was in particular curious about the possibility of nipples reconstruction in order to give her breasts a more natural and complete look.
Rosemary says she was made to feel really at ease from the first moment she met with Mr Chan at her first consultation.

Rosemary also had what she describes as a ‘nasty scar’ on her arm, and had no hesitations in allowing Mr Chan to perform the scar revision surgery together with the nipple reconstructive surgery.
Rosemary was very happy with the results. “I was thrilled and delighted with the results,” she says. “They were even better than I had hoped for!”
“The results exceeded my expectations,” Rosemary says. “He has given me back my confidence.”
