Following an accident in which she suffered a badly broken nose, Cat was advised to contact Mr Chan, the lead consultant for the Acute Plastics Trauma Service at Blackrock Clinic in Dublin, who specialises in trauma reconstructive surgery and cosmetic surgery.

He states: “It’s vital to know and understand what’s achievable, and to remember that perfection is not possible. While a procedure might make you more confident and comfortable with your appearance, afterwards you will still be you, and it’s important to understand that.”

After deciding to undergo the rhinoplasty procedure, Cat was very pleased with the results. She not only felt that, cosmetically, her nose had been successfully restored to its pre-accident appearance, but that she was now feeling much healthier and had an increased sense of well- being and self-confidence.
“My nose now looks great, and my breathing has improved dramatically,” she says.
